Here are 10 easy-to-follow tips to increase your productivity. They are not listed in order of importance. I hope they will serve as a source of inspiration. Just one seed that you sow can grow into a rich crop!
1. Where do you spend your time on?
Take stock of the things you spend time on. You are bound to come across something that you realize is taking up a lot of your time. Maybe you can do these things differently? You may also recognize that you are not paying enough attention to affairs that are important to you. In this case, the adage: measuring is knowing applies.
When you notice that you are often putting things off, ask yourself what is getting in your way. If you are aware of this, you can overcome the blockage and move forward.
2. At what times do you perform best
Determine during which hours you perform best. Plan your most important tasks in that time frame. You will notice that you get the most important jobs done more quickly. You create a sense of success that will benefit you at other times.
3. Set achievable goals
Set clear, achievable goals. Please spend a few minutes each morning reviewing them. If you don’t set any goals for the day, you will find that you’ll probably be busy. But at the end of the day, you may find yourself asking, “Did I do the right thing? Have I prioritized what is important to me? Or have I let myself be led by the madness of the day?”

4. Develop habits
Create a daily routine and stick to it. Long-term productivity is achieved through dedication. One cannot stress the importance of good habits enough. Books are full of them, for example.

5. Create accountability
If you struggle with self-discipline, find a partner who can hold you accountable for your goals. So, share your productivity goals with others. Maybe you don’t find that easy. Perhaps you’re ashamed of it. But if you find someone you can trust who has your best interests at heart, share them. This person can gently guide you back on the path if you start to stray from it,
6. Say no at times
It is okay to say no. If you are already tight on time, don’t volunteer to take on more tasks. People appreciate it when you know your limits.
Stop multi-tasking. Studies show that you accomplish more when you focus on one task for a few hours.
7. Take breaks
Take a 10-minute break for every 90 minutes you work. Walk, stretch and drink some water during your break. This will help you recharge your body and mind.
8. Ask for help
Ask for help. Instead of struggling or procrastinating for hours, ask for clarification or help immediately. It can put you back on track in no time. There is no such thing as asking the wrong questions.
9. Clean up your email
Clean up your email. Spend a few minutes every day cleaning up and organizing your email. Unsubscribe from newsletters that you no longer read. Be moderate in your use of social media.
10. Allow for flexibility in your schedule.
Some people work best 0n a tight deadline. Others prefer a more extended deadline and more time to work on details. Organize your schedule and resources so that you can get things done in both situations.
